As a senior investment and markets analyst, commentator and former business journalist, Susannah is a knowledgeable and highly-skilled interviewer who has quizzed leading business figures, politicians, entrepreneurs and economists on radio and TV, over 17 years at the BBC, and at live events.
In the late 90’s, Susannah joined the RAF Reserves, and soon made it as Squadron Leader for 7644 Sqn. Whilst working for the RAF, she became their combat camera team leader and media consultant. Over the eight years spent there, she was deployed as far and wide as Oman, Macedonia, USA, Hungary, Kosovo, Germany, Poland, Belgium, and Spain.

Susannah is a fluent French speaker. While hosting the World Green Economy Summit in Dubai, she interviewed former President Francois Hollande in French and she has moderated major conferences in France as well as bilingual events in her role as UK representative for NATO’s Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers.

Prior to specialising in business news, Susannah was a regular face on BBC Breakfast, reporting live from across the UK. She also reported for the consumer affairs programme Working Lunch and the BBC Budget programme.
For almost two decades, Susannah anchoring the BBC’s flagship daily business programme World Business Report, as well as Business Matters, Business Live, Talking Business, Your Money, The Budget Programme, Newsnight, and BBC Breakfast.
She is also a popular podcaster. She co-hosted the BBC podcast Backspace and Beyond, the HL Switch Your Money On Investment podcast, Microsoft and EY’s Tech Directions podcast, the World Service World Business Report podcast, and the How to Grow a CMO series.
Throughout her corporate career, Susannah has interviewed the likes of Formula 1 drivers Jensen Button at the DTX Tech Conference on resilience, and David Coulthard on women in sport at the Allwyn Future Conference. She has also interviewed (in French) the former French President Francois Hollande at the World Green Economy Summit, plus ministers and central bankers on bank restructuring at the Paris Forum.
