More About Mollie and Rosie Kmita

Mollie & Rosie Kmita have played for some of the top female teams in professional football, with Mollie at Enfield Town and Rosie playing for Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton, West Ham United and most recently, Watford, retiring from professional football after the 2021-22 season.

In 2020, both Mollie & Rosie Kmita were named as directors at Level 7 Academy which provides a professional football and learning experience to young people aged 16-19, giving young people the chance to play and study, instead of having to choose between academics or sport.

The duo have appeared as guest stars on several popular sporting programmes including Ultimate Goal (2020), Lionesses Live (2022), and Soccer AM (2021-2023), and Football Focus (2022), as well as reporting for The Women’s Football Show (2019) and The One Show (2019).

They are hosts of the Barclays Women’s Championship Show for Sky Sports, and the Broadcast Award-winning Sky Sports Show ‘The Dub’. They are regular faces on Soccer AM, MOTDx, and The Football Show.

The twins have a combined social media following of over 80,000 and often speak to their followers about topics close to their hearts, including diversity in sports. Mollie also believes that social media can be a huge influence in the number of young girls choosing a career in football. Growing up, the twins didn’t have the kind of role models that are available now, and they are both glad that they can offer that to the next generation.

Both women are proud to be seen as role models to all young footballers, not just female or Asian ones. Whilst growing up in a supportive family, Rosie admits that being from an Asian background meant they faced extra cultural challenges when trying to break into professional football. In 2019, they introduced their ‘Bringing Opportunities to Communities’ programme which aims to make sure Asian players are proportionately represented throughout English football.

Rosie is also one of the founders of The Powerhouse Project, who aim to support and nurture the next generation of female football players, through a coaching programme linked with Nike and The FA.
